I am always honoured to work alongside the Greek Orthodox Community and the Parish of Norwood and Eastern Suburbs.

It was brilliant to attend their recent Fundraiser Luncheon alongside the Minister for Multicultural Affairs the Hon Zoe Bettison MP, the Federal MP for Sturt Claire Clutterham, and NPSP Mayor Robert Bria in support of the Parish’s 5 Loaves Initiative and Neighbours in Need.

Earlier this year I advocated on the Parish’s behalf to Premier Peter Malinauskas about funding restorative works on the Pantocrator Icon artwork at the Church.

Much to my delight, the Premier granted a $13,000 grant to the Parish to undertake a full restoration and reinstallation of the artwork in its original position on the Church’s ceiling.
