It was a fantastic evening celebrating the Norwood Football Club SANFL Women’s team at their Best and Fairest awards night.

The spirit and connection within this remarkable group of women is a powerful reminder that success is built on shared purpose, genuine friendship, and commitment.

I was honoured to present the Development League Best and Fairest to the talented Lottie Almond - a well-deserved recognition.

And huge congratulations to Jade Halfpenny on going back-to-back as the club’s Best and Fairest - an outstanding achievement.

It was also amazing to see so many of the indefatigable women back out again at the footy at Norwood Oval today raising money for Breakthrough, Australia’s only dedicated mental health research foundation.

I can’t wait to see what these impressive young women - both on and off the field - will accomplish in 2026.
