Every child deserves a safe and supportive place to learn.

I have had the pleasure of visiting the incredible educators and students at the St Morris Unit at Trinity Gardens School. This specialist unit provides vital support to students with additional needs - but it’s clear their facilities are long overdue for an upgrade.

I raised this directly with the Department for Education and with Minister Blair Boyer MP, who was very supportive and understanding of just how important this is. I advocated strongly for the funding needed to ensure these students and staff have the facilities they deserve.

Together with the Minister for Education Blair Boyer MP and the Minister for Human Services Nat Cook MP, the Malinauskas Government provided $14 million to Trinity Gardens Primary School to fund more places in its specialist units!
